Oct. 14-16 Trip(Robb & Charlie)

Unfortunately this was a last minute trip that Robb and Charlie put together and they were the only ones able to make it.  Originally I(Steve) had planned to make a trip this weekend but no one was available. Paul was out of town in PA, and Robb and Charlie had to work.  My plans were then to take the family over to Seaworld for the day and could only "dream" about being up there in the Alabama woods.  I did get a chance to go to Bass Pro Shop and pick up my first pair of good camo hunting boots.  Can't wait to break them in this season!

Anyway's Robb's goal this trip was to put up his new "tower/condo" shooting house.  The location, South 70, due West of his Tree House.  Since I could not make this trip, I asked Robb if he could put out my mineral rock by my ladder stand.  Robb said that the food plots were to be started this weekend but believes John was having issues with getting a working tractor.  So we are unsure of what food plots we might have for this season.

Unfortunately, Robb said that there really wasn't any great sign of deer, but also said that with all the growth it was hard to see if anything was really walking around.

Here is the work that Robb and Charlie got done.
